Esty Environmental Partners is looking for hard-working interns to join the Boston, MA or Washington, DC offices. Interns at Esty gain a wide range of experience, with direct exposure to the workings of a small business, corporate management, environmental sustainability, and the consulting process. They contribute directly to client projects, as well as work on an assortment of administrative tasks. As valued members of our team, interns get to interact with everyone in the company, including the partners.

Good prospective candidates will have an interest in the environment/business interface, and strong research, analytical, and communication skills. We are looking for candidates who: can keep pace with a team that thinks and moves very quickly; are dedicated to making a meaningful and lasting impact on our clients; and enjoy working collaboratively and constructively with team members.

This is a full time position that lasts 3 months. Payment for this period is $1,500 and there is no commitment for advancement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier school, strong academic record.
• Strong interest in corporate environmental strategy and management.
• Ability to rapidly gather information and execute quantitative analyses, including the ability to use Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, proactive, self-motivated follow-through.
• Ability to execute exceptional quality work as part of a collaborative problem solving team.
• Great oral and written communication skills; proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and other communications programs.
