Full-Time Sustainability Communicator (reporting and web)
Job Description
As a Sustainability Communicator you will manage the strategic development and production of the annual IKEA Group sustainability report, which is one of the key tools used to communicate our sustainability progress globally. You will also work closely with the IKEA Group web team, Corporate PR and global PR and marketing functions, to ensure that sustainability content on the web and other digital channels is engaging, audience-relevant, and up-to-date. You will also develop content for other uses, such as providing input to key IKEA sustainability announcements and talking points on sustainability for IKEA spokespersons.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
Demonstrating that IKEA is an action-oriented, transparent and accountable company.
The design and delivery of the IKEA Group sustainability report, starting with the version that will be published in January 2013. (You will also promote the sustainability report that will be published in early 2012)
In collaboration with others, manage sustainability content that should be communicated via the web.
Working closely with others in the Sustainability Communication Team on joint activities including writing and developing materials and , event management.

To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge about the IKEA sustainability approach and share IKEA values. You need to have strategic communication experience, be a strong writer (in English), and have worked on designing/producing materials (such as reports or similar). You have a passion for communication, branding, sustainability and home furnishing – always with simplicity in mind.
As a person you are proactive, driven and have the ability to work successfully and thrive in a team environment.
Job duration is permanent full time with start date from end of January, subject to agreement.
