Temporary Project Officer CR, Zurich

To support our CR team based at our headquarters in Zurich / Switzerland, we are currently looking to recruit a

8 month fixed term contract (March – October)

In this challenging role you will be responsible for managing and supporting different CR projects and initiatives mainly focusing on environmental topics like climate change and water scarcity. On top of your project work you will be coordinating our environmental reporting data management system, oversee our greenhouse gas reporting and support reporting according to the GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. Furthermore you’ll be responsible for communicating the progress of our CR initiatives internally and externally via CMS-based applications (Websites, Intranet and newsletters). Besides contributing to the other day-to-day activities involved in managing our global CR processes you will coordinate different initiatives and events to raise our employees’ awareness for sustainability.

The ideal candidate will bring /has:

• A university degree preferably in a CR-related discipline
• Sound awareness and understanding of global sustainability and corporate responsibility trends (GRI Reporting, Carbon Disclosure Project, UN Global Compact)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English & German, additional language skills (e.g. Spanish) are an advantage
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in project management tasks & responsibilities
• Ability to learn quickly, attention to detail, well organised and reliable, tact and diplomacy
• Ability to work well in teams and get on with people from different cultural environments
