World Resources Institute (WRI) is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated person to join the Development team as a Program Coordinator for Corporate Relations. This position will play a critical role in helping WRI strengthen its corporate partnerships through research, online communications, database administration, event coordination and administrative support. This position will assist the Director of Corporate Relations and the Manager of WRI’s Corporate Consultative Group (CCG).
This position provides an excellent opportunity for a creative and results-oriented individual who is passionate about working with the corporate sector on WRI’s issues and who wants to strengthen talents in the fundraising profession while working in a fast-paced, 15-person Development Department. The individual selected will report to the Manager of WRI’s Corporate Consultative Group and will also assist the Director of Corporate Relations in implementing overall corporate fundraising strategies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on multiple projects, activities, and deadlines that require the ability to juggle competing priorities. S/he will be very detail-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
This is a great opportunity for an individual with an interest in non-profit corporate relations, through the lens of environmental sustainability. It will involve learning about and contributing to the management of a corporate membership group, as well as supporting the Institute’s other current and prospective corporate relationships. |
