Job Description
IHDP is a joint programme of the International Council for Science (ICSU), the International Social Science Council (ISSC) and the United Nations University (UNU). As international and interdisciplinary, science, programme IHDP is dedicate to promoting, catalyzing and coordinating research, capacity development and networking on the human dimensions of global environmental change. The IHDP Secretariat is hosted and administered by UNU at the United Nations Campus in Bonn, Germany.
Core Responsibilities
The intern will assist in the following:
- General maintenance and update of IHDP Website
- Maintenance and update of IHDP social media channels
- Preparation of original content for IHDP’s online presence
Qualifications
- University student, preferably with a focus on web-based media (either communications or design)
- Excellent command of English
- Practical work experience within a communications department would be an asset
- An interest in scientific research and high-level science-policy-interaction
- Motivated and outgoing, team player
- Willingness to work in a culturally diverse environment and impeccable conduct towards our partners and guests
