Full-Time Global Senior Director, Beer & Better World

Job Description

Responsible for developing and executing global regulatory agenda, including policy and program execution, by collaborating with business functions across all six geographic zones to help deliver the company’s dream to be the Best Beer Company in a Better World.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop strategic regulatory plan and manage global alcohol policy and environmental regulatory agenda, advise and guide zones in development and implementation of regulatory agenda initiatives.
- Manage and lead participation in global alcohol industry association work and zone partnership support, including supervising industry association consultant and other project consultants, as appropriate.
- Advise and guide implementation of social responsibility initiatives, including providing public health viewpoint, share best practices across all geographic zones
- Build relationships and partnerships at global level with industry peers, NGOs, government regulators, retailers and suppliers that inform and support business decisions and achievement of our responsible drinking and environmental global goals.
Education and Special Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, government relations, public health, communications or related field required; advanced degree (Ph.D in health related field) preferred
- Multi-lingual (Spanish, Portuguese, French) preferred
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Professional attitude and team player
- Self-starter who can accomplish a variety of tasks from top-level presentations to routine day-to-day project work
- Good organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
- Ability to be problem solver, take initiative and identify effective and creative solutions
- Must be able to travel extensively internationally (approximately 35-40%)
Experience
- 10+ years experience in government relations/communications/CSR/issues management, preferably in a public health or health-related environment
