E-Campaigner

Department
The Communications Department’s main responsibility is to support the lobby towards brand owners. The department does this by acting as leverage and by creating constant public awareness for Fairfood’s work among various target groups. The department is directed by the Director Communications. The department consists of four international projects, namely E-campaigning, Website, Public Relations and Corporate Identity.

Function
As an E-Campaigner you will cooperate with the Manager in planning and executing online media strategies. The E-campaigning project contains several disciplines: interactive campaigns, community management (i.e. Facebook and Twitter), blogging (i.e. Fairfood Blog) and online video content (i.e. Fairfood YouTube channel). You are responsible for generating as much online exposure for Fairfood as possible within a team of junior online media officers. Furthermore, there are possibilities to conduct research on online media strategies.

Your competences
You are presently studying at or have graduated on higher education (HBO) or university level or have acquired equivalent levels of working and thinking through work experience, preferably with a focus on online media, interactive e-campaigning or production of online content.

Fairfood is looking for a person who loves the internet and knows his or her way around any 2.0 platform or community. Preferably, you are experienced in developing and executing online (audiovisual) concepts. You have extensive communications skills in English. Obviously, you have an affinity with Fairfood’s objectives.

This is an unpaid position, which is suitable as an internship to obtain working experience in this particular field of work and at an NGO. We offer a versatile position within a young international organisation. You will have the freedom and opportunities to continue developing yourself and achieve tangible results. We value our employees and we fully recognise that flexibility in the amount of working hours might be important for you. To create a beneficial relationship for both parties we prefer you to work for a minimum of sixteen hours a week over a three-month period.
