Full-Time Corporate partnerships officer, London
Job Description
The post of corporate partnerships officer is focused on supporting the team responsible for generating commercial funding for CDP. The successful candidate will be based CDP’s London headquarters and work closely with our offices around the world.
The key tasks will include internet and phone based research to help identify commercial companies that the sales team could approach, administration and record keeping for the team and setting up meetings and conference calls. We are looking for a well organised, friendly and hard working individual, who is able to work autonomously and within a small team.
Main responsibilities
- Identifying new funding relationships for CDP
- Undertaking research projects as required
- Administrative support including funding proposal writing for partnerships team
- Relationship management of some CDP corporate partners
- Working closely with our broader fundraising team to maximise funding efforts globally
Requirements
- Ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels
- Previous administrative work
- Highly organised and efficient at planning
- An understanding of business and commercial organisations
- Ability to represent CDP at all levels
- Ability to distil complex ideas into clear concise and compelling proposals
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent organizational / project management skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Self motivated, with the ability to organize own work, set priorities, meet deadlines and follow up on assignments
- Some understanding of environmental market and business a bonus
- Team worker
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Desirable:
- A keen personal interest in and commitment to sustainable development
- Understanding of climate change and its environmental as well as societal impacts
