The role The successful candidate will support team members with a number of tasks and projects contributing to the organisation’s successful delivery of services to members:

• Support project manager in the implementation  and the coordination of collaborative projects, including

We are looking to develop our website to take our project to the next, exciting stage. We will be publishing open source wind turbine designs which can be built by communities around the world. This is a unique and innovative project. We need a website to provide the focal point for this. (Separately we will be facilitating a skills transfer.)

As part of this we require a complete overhaul of the website, including a redesign of the ‘look and feel’. The replacement website will be at the heart of our project, and will host technical designs (and ideally a versioning system); fora; a blog. This needs to be implemented in a commonly-used system, and well-documented so that volunteers can maintain the site. We also need a number of business-critical remote IT solutions – mailing lists; file storage; project management.

We are looking for both technical and design expertise for this project, and will put together a mini-team. Ideally this team will work togther (remotely) throughout May. Expenses, but no salary will be paid. The job provides an excellent opportunity for you to develop solutions yourself, and demonstrate your ability to work in a team on a complex and high profile project.
